# Answer readiness follow-up · 11 October 2026

Focused release follow-up: four shortest eligible trees, two contaminated period profiles and Unaysauridae working-model selection. This is not a literature review of every multi-period occurrence in the roster.

## Four short trees

Archaeocursor, Asilisaurus, Lewisuchus and Soumyasaurus remain eligible with broad published ancestry. An Eocursor guess returns Ornithischia and isolates these four eligible answers without a clue. Each has a unique complete standard-clue combination. Four possibilities fit the agreed maximum of five; no unsupported family or compulsory extra clue is added. This demonstrates an available route, not a guarantee for arbitrary earlier guesses.

- **Archaeocursor:** Dinosauria → Ornithischia → Archaeocursor.
- **Asilisaurus:** Dinosauria → Ornithischia → Asilisaurus.
- **Lewisuchus:** Dinosauria → Ornithischia → Lewisuchus.
- **Soumyasaurus:** Dinosauria → Ornithischia → Soumyasaurus.

## Occurrence corrections

**Lewisuchus:** Triassic literature profile overrides the contaminated screening period union; frozen records untouched.

**Megalosaurus:** Jurassic / Europe clue profile under modern diagnosed genus. Verified type locality confirmed; all other captured locality referrals retained and labelled uncertain, pending specimen-level checks.

## Unaysauridae working model

Retain the existing published Unaysauridae membership of Macrocollum, Unaysaurus and Jaklapallisaurus, supported by the dedicated 2024 studies. Retain Musankwa at Massopoda and Pradhania in the existing Massospondylidae working model. The weak and partly alternative 2026 topology is disclosed but is not adopted piecemeal. Reconsider as a whole if a better-resolved analysis changes the balance of evidence.

The full 2026 Jaklapallisaurus figure topology was not independently verified. The retained model is an explicit release choice; it does not claim that the competing scientific question is resolved.
